What is a Canvas?
The canvas is the internal structural layer that gives a jacket its shape. While most competitors use glue (fusing) which creates a stiff fit and degrades over time, we use a sewn canvas construction. This creates a breathable heirloom piece built to last decades.

The Difference:

  • Half Canvas:
    The canvas covers the chest and lapel only. Result: A lightweight feel with a clean, structured chest profile.
  • Full Canvas:
    The canvas extends from the shoulder to the bottom hem. Result: The superior choice. Because the canvas runs through the entire front, the jacket gradually molds to your unique body shape, improving the fit the more you wear it.

Crafted from 100% Australian Super 140s Merino wool, this cloth offers exceptional softness, breathability, and a smooth, luxurious hand feel. CONSTRUCTION

The jacket is cut using a London drape–influenced pattern, allowing subtle fullness through the chest with a tapered waist for natural movement and presence. Satin peak lapels add sharp contrast and visual strength, reinforcing the tuxedo’s formal character while highlighting the clean roll of the lapel.
